When traveling, I make it a point to make my camera look crappy and old. I cover it with duct tape, carry it in a normal, dirty backpack, and make sure all recognizable logos such as “Canon” or “Phase One” are hidden. A nice looking camera case is also a red flag. I prefer typical “consumer” travel packs or using older weathered bags that have seen better days.

In the opening hour of The Hobbit shown in 3D HFR – I don’t recall hearing a single sigh, or laugh.   Not one.    When I went to see the exact same seen with an audience of the same size on a 2D projection – I heard regular chuckles and laughter… why?

I surfed on Amazon, looked at my wish list, the Macbook Air 11″, 128GB SSD, 4GB RAM I’ve saved there, saw a button that promised delivery until the next morning, pressed it in assumption that it’ll go straight to my shopping cart, didn’t see that it was one of those 1-click-order buttons, saw the “Thanks for your order” page, felt silly. And happy.

After this, the dominoes will begin falling fast. In the short term, expect Apple to seek sales injunctions against the accused devices that are still on sale — the Galaxy S II is still available around the world, for example, and the power of a jury verdict will make those requests very easy for Apple to pursue. We're also sure to see Samsung appeal many of the legal decisions made in the case, and it's all but certain Apple will appeal the jury's decision regarding the iPad's trade dress protectability. That's a big chip for it to win.

I gave Tweetbot for Mac another try. I still don’t love it, but it’s certainly moving in the right direction. One of the features I’m missing most though is a global New Tweet shortcut. My solution/workaround is not perfect but it made Tweetbot much nicer for me, so I decided to share it on my blog.

    achisto Ist bei mir genauso, getreu dem Motto: lieber in teure Gläser investieren als DEN überragenden Body. Klar, ich habe auch einen guten Body, aber die Gläser sind dennoch das, was neben dem Fotograf selbst, zu einem guten Foto entscheidend beiträgt!
