What's QUOTE.fm?
Sure, nobody's in need of another social network. Everyone of us is filling multiple timelines on a daily basis, whether it's on Twitter or on Facebook. Status updates, funny videos, touching photos and inspirations. But there's one thing that's always left behind: reading. Detailed texts, among them loads that are worth reading, are being overlooked between pictures and videos of cute kittens.
Everything's getting faster while nobody's taking the time to read a text beyond the length of a quick read. We're here to change that. With texts worth your time.
Who needs QUOTE.fm?
Let's not fool ourselves, some of us wouldn't want any more reading recommendations. Not everybody's got the time to sit down a moment and read a text that might expand one's horizon. Nevertheless, anybody who likes to read knows that – among other things – the internet offers countless amazingly great articles with the potential to convey striking ideas, to change one's entire world view and to provoke emotions.
Anyone who's up for that is in for a real treat, a gold mine of well-written, wonderful texts. QUOTE.fm is all about quality, about the experience of reading something great. It's about the texts.
So what if I don't want my site to be recommended?
If, for whatever reason, you'd rather not let anyone recommend texts from your site, there's always the possibility to have it added to our blacklist. Hit us up at blacklist@quote.fm and we'll make sure that its Source Page gets deleted and that none of its content will ever be posted to QUOTE.fm again.
As we don't want anyone messing around with this, you'll need to give us some sort of proof that you're the respective domain's owner. Also, keep in mind that, once a site is off our radar, there's no going back. Better think twice before it's gone for good.
